Background of the project
The tobacco industry has the characteristics of large material flow, many transportation links, high degree of automation and flexibility in the production process, and strict requirements for information control and management systems. In recent years, major tobacco companies have continuously applied new technologies to improve work efficiency and control costs. As a symbolic equipment in the modern production process, AGV has the conditions to better meet the above characteristics. This project is mainly to provide a company in the tobacco industry with a full-process unmanned automation service integrating storage, sorting, and distribution. The degree of automation is required to reach more than 90%. It is required that the proportion of localized products in the project far exceeds that of imported products.

Implementation Difficulties and Countermeasures

The project needs to increase the storage capacity due to site constraints. The temporary storage area is designed as a dense storage area, using shuttle vehicles for storage, and AGV for transfer. There are two difficulties involved in the progress of the project.

First, how to achieve efficient scheduling of goods in and out of warehouses for dense warehouses under the condition of limited physical space in warehouses? By establishing a custom mode of multiple rules and strategies for the warehouse management brain WMS system, it solves the order initialization, order collection, inventory allocation, picking strategy, and delivery generated under the attribute conditions of provincial and municipal multi-level orders, multi-SKU, and multi-batch. Strategy and other issues, in order to optimize inventory and improve the efficiency of inbound and outbound.

Second, there are very few application cases of AGV transfer shuttle vehicles in the industry, and the few cases are not perfect. The difficulty lies in the small gap between the shuttle vehicle and the track, and the precise placement of the shuttle vehicle on the track , which requires the positioning accuracy of the AGV and the delivery accuracy of the AGV must be at the millimeter level, and due to the limitation of the factory building, the reserved space for the AGV driving channel is only 2.7 meters. To solve this difficulty, the non-standard forward-moving laser navigation is designed The forklift AGV transforms the mechanical structure of the entire vehicle. Through accurate force calculation, the vehicle counterweight is distributed to multiple points to ensure that the vehicle is small in size and safe to use. The compact body provides a great solution for vehicle positioning. The convenience, and then solve the accuracy problem by improving the positioning sensor and vehicle control system.

Value to customers
The project uses 6 forward-moving laser navigation forklift AGVs to work with shuttle vehicles. From the original manual layer change to AGV automatic layer change, the intelligence and automation of the workshop have been greatly improved, and the labor intensity of workers has been reduced. The introduction of Yufeng's systematic solution for dispatching functions has effectively solved the material transportation volume of the workshop. Large, low-efficiency, low-precision manual forklifts and other problems, and greatly improved the safety of workshop operations. At the same time, it also breaks the conventional limitation of docking the shuttle car with a stacker or hoist, and helps the intelligent upgrade of the workshop in the tobacco industry with the minimum investment.
